Introduction to Ayurveda

w/ Allison Burke

Ayurveda is an ancient, holistic wellness system that originated in India and focuses on balance in the body + mind. It offers simple, everyday practices around food, movement and rest to help you feel your best.

This 2-hour workshop, Allison will cover the fundamentals of Ayurvedic principles, doshas, daily routines, seasonal wellness and nutrition. Participants leave with practical tools they can implement immediately to support balance, energy and overall wellbeing. Workshops typically include a guided meditation and a gentle yoga component tailored to the group.

When: Sunday, March 22nd | 11am - 1pm

Cost: $55

Meet your Facilitator, Allison Burke:

Allison is an Ayurvedic Health Counselor and certified yoga instructor. She discovered Ayurveda in 2013 and was immediately drawn to its holistic approach to wellness. After struggling with disordered eating and fad dieting, she found healing in Ayurveda's recognition that each person is unique—there is no one-size-fits-all approach to health and wellbeing.

Blending her Ayurvedic training with her background in yoga (200hr YTT + 300hr Yin Yoga training), she guides individuals toward finding what works uniquely for their bodies and lives.

Teaching at yoga studios, corporate settings, and rehabilitation centers, and offering 1:1 support, she helps students slow down, connect with their breath, and cultivate balance. Her approach honors individual needs and the power of moving deliberately, creating space for people to feel more grounded, free, and at ease.
